Buying a home is a big deal, whether you’re doing it for the first time or getting back into the ever-changing market. When you educate yourself for smart homeownership with Framework, you’ll navigate every step of the process with confidence. If you are already working with a lender you should confirm this meets their requirements prior to registering as different lenders may have different homebuyer education and counseling requirements.

2019 Downpayment Plus Programs
To satisfy the pre-purchase education and counseling requirement for the FHLBank Chicago’s 2019 Downpayment Plus and Downpayment Plus Advantage programs, homebuyers may first select a counseling provider that has adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NIS) from the list below. After completing the Framework Online Homebuyer Course, the homebuyer will then be required to complete one-on-one counseling with the selected agency. Additional fees may apply.
